This exhibition coincides with the premier Namatjira at The Canberra Theatre, a BighART production. The Namatjira Project celebrates the life of Albert Namatjira, and continues his legacy through ongoing creative community development projects with Ngurratjuta artists. The exhibition and theatre production are the culmination of the project, and will feature spectacular Central Desert landscapes – the artists’ country and that which Albert used to paint.
